As one of the featured artists in the Timeline exhibit at Laurel Hill Mansion in Philadelphia, PA, Jessica is excited to invite you to a hands-on workshop inspired by the materials and techniques in her own work.

In this workshop, you’ll explore the art of transforming doilies through painting, reimagining them as key elements in expressive mixed-media collages.

You’ll experiment with color, layering, and texture to create your own unique pieces—drawing inspiration from both traditional craft and contemporary art.

No experience is needed, just a willingness to play and explore!

Your finished art can be used to decorate your walls, tables as runners or anything you can imagine.

All materials will be provided. Open to all skill levels!

How to effectively paint on doilies, layer them, glue them to a canvas backing and each other, and finally, seal them for indoor outdoor display.
